Hvala ti, Oče, da nisi oddaljen Bog, da si Bog, ki si z nami. Da nas vabiš v svojo sredo in ki si nam to po svojem Sinu Jezusu Kristusu omogočil, čeprav si nič od tega nismo zaslužili.
Molim, Gospod Bog, da nas varuješ pred grehom. Molim za oblastnike tega sveta, da bi pokleknili pred tvojim suverenim Obličjem, da ne bi delali zla, ampak da bi se pokesali in obrnili stran od teh moči, da bi se podredili tvojemu jarmu, in delali vse v ljubezni.
Tudi za nas prosim, da nas preobražaš v svojo podobo,
Po Jezusu Kristusu, našem Gospodu.

Thank you, Father, that you are not a remote and distant god, but that you are God who is with us, close to us. That you invite us to be in your midst, which is only possible because you enabled it through your Son, Jesus Christ, even though we did not deserve it, none of it.
I pray, dear Lord, that you protect us from sin. I pray for the rulers on this Earth, that they would kneel before you and your Sovereign reign. I pray that they would turn away from their evil ways, away from the corrupted powers they wield, and instead submit to your yoke and do everything in love. I ask for all of us here as well, that you would transform us into your likeness.
