I am a jack of many trades. I’m a maker. I like to make beautiful things. Primarily I work in photography, graphic design, page layout, and lately also in woodwork and laser engraving. Basically: I create things. I market all of this under my brand MJD.si and through FRUMA Institute, which I also founded.
I’m a libertarian, with some conservative views. I’m also a Christian, who leans on a Protestant side of denominations, but would consider myself a nondenominational, insofar as following Christ as a sovereign King, Lord, High Priest, and Saviour is in the center of it all. I do try to follow Him and be His disciple to the best of my ability. That is, among other things to live out responsibly, serve, and give glory to Him, who created us all. In order to live this out even better, I strive to defend reason that Gave us, Natural Law that governs us all, and liberty, which we were supposed to have, but we don’t, since we gave it all away to the irresponsible powers of doom, that lay in the hands of Governments and States.
When I have time, which I try to take at least once a month, I write this blog, and sometimes I also write a column for other online media. I love spreading ideas of Christ, Liberty and Personal Responsibility, though mostly in informal ways. It seems, that this is the best path forward, from person to person, in small and informal groups.
My Education, even though I have much to have against formal education, consists of successfully completed High School for Visual Arts and Photography in Ljubljana (SŠOF), of Bachelor degree in Fine Visual Arts and an uncredited seminary degree in Theology.
In general though, I love learning how to do things, in theory and in practice (though lately more in practice). Though when I’m not learning or creating things, I do design and visual as well as technical consulting for the Bible Society of Slovenia. I also love reading books, spending time either indoors, or when the weather is right also outside on my bike or by foot in the nature.
